Benefit Concert Report
So sorry to leave you hanging! :) The benefit concert went very well. The audience left happy, and the performers were pretty jazzed also. Our Beaumont Rag was one of the highlights, as were our two little "show stoppers" Joe and Isaac. Want to thank the Old Liberty Theater, Don and Darrell for doing lights and sound, and for all you who came. We did end up being able to go to Mexico as a result of that concert.

Conzatti Family Band Bio
...And here's our family band bio.
The Conzatti Family Band began in 1977, when two people joined together with a vision for what God could do through a family dedicated to Him. The adventure began with a 10th size violin thrust into the hands of a 5-year-old, and continued as each child came of age and was in turn introduced to either a string instrument or piano, lessons, and everything that comes with it. We have enjoyed playing together occasionally over the years for friends and family, but because of the encouragement and inspiration of many dear mentors and friends, decided to make the band official in the Summer of 2005. The three oldest, Dena, Paula, and Jamie, are all members of the GreenerBlue band. Leslie plays viola. Leanne is on cello, bass, and mandolin. Joe plays piano and banjo, and Isaac fiddles and plays the train whistle. Everyone chimes in on the vocals. The full credit for this bunch goes to our Heavenly Father, who loves and guides us through all that we do.

GreenerBlue Bio
Here's the new bio.
GreenerBlue is comprised of 4 musicians, 3 Conzatti sisters and 1 Copper, each talented in their own right, but combine their musical skills with an energy that creates a compelling and enjoyable performance. While listening to repertoire displaying a diverse musical background, you will hear traditional fiddle, Celtic, and bluegrass tunes, tinged with flavors of classical, swing, gospel, and jazz. Along with the standard bluegrass instrumentation of guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and bass, Jamie also takes solos on her cello, and occasionally the mandocello as well. The vocal numbers contain tightly blended harmonies and are chosen from old standbys and newer favorites. Paula is our guitarist, band support, and unofficial cheerleader. Dena plays fiddle, keeps the group blog updated, and writes bios. Jamie: bassist, cellist, practice manager, publicity department, rodie, show director, band transportation, and emcee. Titus Copper is mandolinist extraordinaire, bass vocalist, and inspiration department.

Information
Well, after looking at the poster, I realized that the crucial information is a little difficult to decipher from the size it turned out to be. The date is October 21, time, 7pm, place, Old Liberty Theater. Call Jamie (360) 576-0776 or the Old Liberty Theater (360) 887-7260 for tickets. Seating is limited, so reserve early! Or, I realized you can click on the poster to view it at a larger size.

Folk Festival
The Previous Pic was from the Folk Festival. We performed in Amboy, and it was tons of fun! We all wore cowboy hats, the boys sang "Old Cowhand," and we sang our medley, "Jump," and played several of our best songs. Not a bad experience for our first festival! We had to jet off right after our show to do a gig for a barn party. Life just gets crazier, but we like it that way. :)

Titus Rocks!!
Recent new news! Titus just made principle of the OPAYCO 2nd violin section. Way to go, Titus! You make GreenerBlue proud! "Sniff!" Stupendously outstandingly marvelously... ok, ok, ok... GREAT JOB!!
Back from Cultus!
Not that Cultus has anything to do with GreenerBlue...the Conzattis were up there for a week. I'll have to post some pics. Beautiful country between rainstorms...although beautiful even then. Just makes it harder to enjoy. I think we're aiming for a practice with Titus tomorrow (Friday).

Back from the Northwoods!
Dena is back from the NW and spreading the joy of bluegrass wherever she goes. :) The jamming sessions were great, and even sold some CDs. PTL! Maybe Mexico is in the future? Who knows.

Recent Updates
I cleaned up our page on ibluegrass.com and added links to this blog, cdbaby, and our future website domain home. Wonder when that will ever get done... BTW, I am opening this post for comments for the 1st time, so enjoy! :)
The first day
Today GreenerBlue is planning out our skit for family camp. Not having Dena here makes things a little difficult, but we are learning flexibility. :) The Conzatti sisters have decided on Hey Good Lookin' for the tune, and still deciding on band members. We were thinking of calling the little wannabes in the skit, "Turquoise" or "Aquamarine."
