Streamlining

We have been practicing and recording regularly for the past several weeks. Only 2-3 more tunes to go. (The hardest ones of course!)
Recording is going better and is more streamlined since we started recording the whole group together. We really glean from each other, and it gives the music a more energetic, live feel, which is better. I love hearing the finished product! It is great to let guests listen, and see the reaction on their faces. :) Ha! Life is good!

Recording. . . . .and. . . . .Rechording :)

We are really excited about how our new CD is coming along. We are planning on having it ready by the beginning of July!!! Hang with us folks as we finish up last minute details and get this thing done. It is gonna be a good one.

Concert Update

Hey all!

For those of you who were there. . . . .the concert was great!!! What a fun time! I am really realizing now how much I absolutely love playing this music on several points. My sisters are playing with me (and a good friend), the music is very energizing, and. . . . people love to listen to "happy" music. I love what I do and am really grateful for all the opportunities we have gotten to play recently. Praise the Lord for His goodness to us!!

Back at it again

Posting hasn't been a real strong point for me recently, but thanks to Jamie's encouragement, (or should I say, competition) ;) I will be more diligent in the near future.

Practicing happens tonight, and hopefully we'll be able to nail everything down for Sunday's concert.

Getting excited!!!

Upcoming Event!!!

Hey all!

Jamie here. Just letting y'all know about our upcoming concert. We will be performing with the Oregon Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra on their concert "Fiddling Around With Mozart" in honor of that great composer's birthday. It will be at the Mt. Angel Performing Arts Center at 3:00pm, Sunday March 19th. We will be warming up the hall 15 min. before the concert so get there early to see us perform. There will be a mix of our old tunes and quite a few new ones! If you miss that, don't worry because we will be intermixed throughout the rest of the concert. Ticket prices and directions can be gotten through the OPACO website which is: http://www.oregonproarte.org/.

Just a heads up and we would love to see you there!

Titus. . . . .

cool and collected during recording. most of the time he just makes up his part after we hit record. :)

Those Headphones were too big!

Here is a picture of jamie and cello recording at wonderful Dorn's house. He was so nice to let us take over his upstairs. . . . . twice!! We really appreciate all of the help people have given us the past couple months as we are working on getting this CD done!

Thank you!

Gratefully,
